Publication Conditions
1. Authors pay no fees to have their articles published in The Yearbook (as a result, Science Library awarded the journal the Diamond open access [mark]).
2. The Yearbook is a periodical that publishes open access research content. All research articles published in the journal’s columns are fully open access: freely available to read, download, and share. Articles have been published (since the first issue of The Yearbook was released in 2015) under the terms of a CC license (see below), which permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
3. The author who submits an article for publication in "Filologia Polska" agrees to a) its publication in accordance with the terms of Creative Commons / Attribution – Non Commercial – No Derivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) and b) its storage in the Repository of the University of Zielona Góra (non-commercial repository, see also).
4. Copyright (a). As a general rule, authors who are not employees of the University of Zielona Góra retain copyright—including publishing rights—to their articles, without any restrictions.
5. Copyright (b). As a general rule, authors who are employees of the University of Zielona Góra do not retain copyright, including publishing rights, to the articles. In such cases, the University of Zielona Góra is the copyright holder.
6. The Institute of Polish Philology and the Institute of German Philology of the University of Zielona Góra commission the publication of The Yearbook at The Publishing House of the University of Zielona Góra and cover all related costs, including possible reviewer fees, fees for editing work, and printing.
7. Each article submitted for publication in the journal must obtain the full approval of The Yearbooks’ Editorial Board and Scientific Council, supported by at least two positive statements from reviewers (see for details). Articles should also meet the requirements of the publishing ethics, and their authors should collaborate with the editorial board according to the established schedule terms.
8. Submitting an article for publication in the yearbook constitutes a declaration by the author(s) regarding its originality and authorship.
9. Every research article undergoes an anti-plagiarism check using the Crossref Similarity Check tool powered by iThenticate.
10. An author submitting a research article for publication may support their work with results obtained using tools such as content generators (various artificial intelligence models), particularly when these tools assist (e.g., by reducing calculation time, organizing, or prioritizing information) in the analysis or formulation of conclusions based on data within the research process. Such instances must be clearly noted in the text of the article, accompanied by a statement confirming that the results of such tools underwent necessary verification under full human oversight.
