Schedules

A scholarly journal’s schedule is a detailed plan of the activities and processes required to publish each issue.
It outlines deadlines for successive editorial and publishing stages, as well as target dates for authors, reviewers, and editors to complete specific tasks. The schedule may vary depending on the journal, its publication frequency (e.g., monthly, quarterly, or annual), and its publishing policies.
"Filologia Polska. Roczniki Naukowe Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego” journal is released once a year, consisting of a issue per calendar year.

Work plan for upcoming issues of The Yearbook

  1. We accept materials for publication until the end of November each year (x).
  2. In December (Year X), the academic editors of the issue and members of the Scientific Council begin the process of selecting the submitted studies.
  3. The period from January to March of the following year (x + 1) is the time allocated for the publication of review notes.
  4. Subsequently, the editors await submissions from authors by the end of April, following any revisions made in response to reviewers' suggestions.
  5. From May to December — editorial work, including author's proofreading.
  6. December of year x + 1 — traditional, i.e., “paper,” publication.
  7. Year x + 2 (as soon as possible) — online publication of the entire issue on the journal’s website.

We kindly request adherence to deadlines; this will facilitate our work and ensure the desired regularity in the publication of subsequent issues of the annual.
