For Students and Teachers
Above is a link to multiple-choice quizzes. In each instance, only one of the four provided answers is correct. The topics cover the literature and culture of past eras, fundamental concepts in literary theory, poetics, and genre studies, as well as the Polish language itself—including orthography, phraseology, paremiography, and more.
Broadly speaking, the quizzes cover material typically discussed during Polish language lessons. The sets vary in difficulty; some may also prove thought-provoking for students learning Polish as a foreign language.
No answer key is provided*. Each quiz consists of at least 25 questions. Some quizzes are preceded by additional notes. In some cases, a single instruction applies to all tasks within a quiz—a detail duly noted in the description.
This project grew out of involvement with the Zielona Góra branch of the Society of Polish Language Enthusiasts ("Towarzystwo Miłośników Języka Polskiego") and the resulting commitments—specifically, those related to organizing International Mother Language Day (February 21) by members affiliated with the University of Zielona Góra.
While the quizzes can serve as a form of assessment, they are primarily intended as teaching aids for school education or as resources for independent study.
Plans are in place to regularly expand the collection of quizzes.
