The Institute of Polish Philology invites you to contribute to The Yearbook, whose concept is—overall—appointed by its name. We would like to broaden the scope of the journal's content by including broadly defined humanist studies—a direction that is critical in both the development of methodological strategies and the broadening of the context of studies in Polish philology. Above all, we value uniqueness and innovation. The scale of the forms of expression that we offer is as wide as possible, although typical of scholarly discourse: from in-depth analyses of single phenomena to brief syntheses; from first printings to reeditions; from reviews and reports to substantive corrections and polemics. We assume that each Yearbook will consist of co-authored monographs, which will be enriched by content in regular columns.
If you are interested, please send your materials to the addresses provided in the Secretariat tab.

2025 Yearbook invitation
2024-04-09

We cordially invite representatives of all Polish studies disciplines to publish in the Yearbook of the Institute of Polish Philology of the University of Zielona Góra. The topic of the issue is: Language in politics. The experience of recent years shows that the political "world" has a very decisive influence on the language we use in everyday life, in journalism, in various debates, and then it also becomes an element of literature. Language is a basic cultural good, which is why the phenomenon described here demands it appropriate reflection, which can be generally summarized by the proposed slogan: language in politics.
The planned release date of the issue is the end of 2025.
